Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Software Developer to join our team in Lagos and help build and maintain our spatial data platform and field applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain multi‑schema PostGIS databases with versioning, per‑tenant isolation and TimescaleDB for telemetry.
• Develop Laravel 11 REST APIs, Node.js/Express micro‑services and integrate KoboToolbox webhooks, GeoServer WMS/WFS layers.
• Create web mapping interfaces using OpenLayers or MapLibre GL JS and React dashboards for network planning.
• Maintain the FiberOS Field Expo React Native app with offline SQLite sync, GPS, camera and form capture.
• Design n8n and Node‑RED workflows linking KoboToolbox, Google Sheets, PostGIS and internal APIs, and write Python scripts for spatial processing.

Required profile

• B.Sc. (or M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT; coursework in GIS or spatial computing is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years with spatial/GIS data systems.
• Proven record of delivering production‑grade web applications with spatial data components.
