Senior AI Engineer – APAC & Africa

About the role

ChainGPT is seeking a senior AI engineer to help build Brain by AIVM, an enterprise AI platform focused on trust and governance. You will work remotely with the founders and senior team, shaping core product components from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship core product features, systems, and infrastructure.
• Transform fast‑moving AI‑assisted prototypes into reliable, scalable production‑grade software.
• Own architecture, security, quality, and technical direction for major product areas.
• Direct and evaluate AI coding agents (e.g., Codex, Claude Code) while maintaining strong human oversight.
• Define engineering standards, architecture patterns, review practices, and AI‑native workflows.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience building and shipping production software used by real users.
• Deep understanding of AI tooling (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor) and where human judgment is essential.
• Strong security instincts and ability to assess risks of AI‑generated code.
• Startup or early‑stage product experience with high ownership mindset.

• Expertise in software architecture, system design, debugging, and code quality.
• Experience ensuring security, reliability, and scalability of production systems.
