Police Dispatcher – Emergency Communications Specialist

About the role

This remote position supports public safety agencies by receiving, triaging, and routing emergency calls. You will work under high‑pressure conditions, ensuring accurate information flow between callers and field responders.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming emergency requests via phone, radio, and digital platforms.
• Apply standardized protocols and checklists to capture essential details and enter data accurately.
• Prioritize and triage multiple concurrent incidents while maintaining composure.
• Coordinate and dispatch requests to the appropriate field resources or agencies.
• Deliver clear, concise written and verbal communications throughout the workflow.
• Participate in ongoing protocol reviews and contribute to AI training dataset improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in police dispatch, emergency communications, or a comparable high‑stakes coordination environment.
• Exceptional multitasking ability with a focus on accuracy under stress.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in urgent situations.
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms and information management systems used in dispatch operations.
