Chief Security Officer for 4‑Star Hotel

About the role

Venmac Resources Limited is seeking a seasoned Chief Security Officer to lead security operations for a 4‑star hotel in Life Camp, Abuja. The CSO will ensure a safe environment for guests, staff, and assets while overseeing security during the ongoing remodeling phase.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce hotel security policies, procedures and standards.
• Supervise all security personnel, establish patrol schedules, and conduct regular security inspections.
• Manage CCTV monitoring, access‑control systems, alarms and other security equipment.
• Coordinate emergency response, crisis management and fire‑life safety activities.
• Control contractor access and monitor construction‑site security during remodeling.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports and maintain confidential incident logs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of security operations experience, preferably in hospitality or a high‑traffic environment.
• Proven supervisory or security‑management experience with a team of security staff.
• Physical fitness, mental alertness and ability to respond to emergencies.

Required skills

• CCTV surveillance operation and monitoring.
• Access‑control system management.
• Alarm and emergency communication system handling.
