Personal Chef for CEO – Abuja

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Chef to serve the CEO’s household in Abuja. The role involves planning, preparing, and presenting daily meals that meet specific dietary preferences, health considerations, and cultural tastes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and cook daily menus tailored to the CEO’s preferences, including Igbo traditional dishes, Nigerian soups, stews, and continental meals.
• Prepare pastries, baked goods, snacks, and desserts while maintaining high culinary standards.
• Create balanced, diabetes‑conscious meals with careful attention to sugar and carbohydrate content.
• Manage grocery shopping, ingredient inventory, and ensure proper storage and food safety.
• Maintain a spotless kitchen, equipment, and work areas; clean and reset after each cooking session.
• Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and communicate replenishment needs promptly.
• Provide meals for guests or private engagements as required, maintaining strict confidentiality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Personal, Private, or Executive Chef (minimum 12 months).
• Strong practical knowledge of Igbo, Nigerian, and Continental cuisines.
• Basic to intermediate pastry and baking abilities.
• Understanding of healthy, diabetes‑friendly cooking techniques.
• Excellent hygiene, sanitation practices, and meticulous organization.
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, discretion, and the ability to work under pressure.
