Onshore Preparation Team Leader – Maintenance Coordination

About the role

SPIE Global Services Energy is seeking an Onshore Preparation Team Leader to join the ERHA project in Nigeria. The role focuses on coordinating and preparing preventive and campaign maintenance activities across the maintenance team, ensuring all technical and administrative elements are ready for execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare all preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate and prepare all campaign maintenance activities, including mono‑campaigns, major equipment interventions, and complex maintenance operations.
• Ensure accuracy of detailed technical elements during the preparation phase.
• Review work order lists to confirm all outstanding works are accounted for.
• Manage administrative components such as work packs, materials, tools, consumables, and manpower planning.
• Issue weekly global preparation reports covering work order validation, work pack readiness, scaffold requirements, tools/materials, mobilization forecasts, and execution status.
• Monitor procurement activities and flag critical long‑lead items early.
• Conduct hand‑over procedures on site to prevent safety or operational incidents.
• Organise job risk assessments, kick‑off meetings, and pre‑job meetings to ensure clear scope understanding.
• Prepare presentations and closure reports for major campaigns, highlighting lessons learned and recommendations.
• Coordinate team feedback and issue REX when necessary.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating preventive and campaign maintenance activities.
• Strong ability to manage work orders, work packs, and related documentation.
• Experience monitoring procurement and identifying critical long‑lead items.
• Capability to produce detailed preparation reports and presentations.
• Familiarity with safety hand‑over processes and risk assessment meetings.
