Technical Service Support Engineer

About the role

Alpha ESS is seeking a Technical Service Support Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison for customers, installers and business partners throughout the product lifecycle. You will work on‑site to install, test, and troubleshoot energy storage systems, ensuring reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, installers and partners.
• Perform field installations, system tests and on‑site troubleshooting of energy storage solutions.
• Handle customer complaints, coordinate resolutions and follow up to ensure timely closure.
• Organise spare parts, after‑sales documentation, customer records and service data.
• Collect performance data during field testing and report findings to internal teams.
• Deliver technical training to dealers, installers and service partners on installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Automation or a related field.
• Experience in energy storage, photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Strong hands‑on capability for installation and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to support both business customers and end users.
• Customer‑oriented mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
