About the role
DP World is seeking a Logistics Officer to manage end‑to‑end import processes and ensure smooth cargo movement across the supply chain. You will work closely with clearing agents, finance, procurement and warehouse teams to guarantee compliance and timely delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Handle full import cycle, from documentation to customs clearance.
- Coordinate with clearing agents and monitor shipment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with customs, port and regulatory requirements.
- Calculate import costs, duties and taxes and maintain accurate records.
- Work with finance to process duty payments.
- Resolve shipment delays and customs issues.
- Prepare import status reports and inventory arrival updates.
- Support procurement and warehouse teams for material planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Eligibility to work in the country of employment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
