Procurement Analyst

About the role

The Procurement Analyst will support the procurement unit in daily activities, ensuring accurate data collation, analysis and reporting to drive efficient procurement operations at Dangote Ports Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain procurement documentation, records and databases up‑to‑date.
• Assist in RFQ/RFP preparation, bid evaluation and vendor performance monitoring.
• Track PR‑PO cycle time and collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify specifications.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports, including spend analysis, supplier performance dashboards and KPIs.
• Collate and analyse procurement data for reporting and decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SOPs and audit requirements.
• Support contract management activities, including documentation and renewals.
• Provide analytical support to improve procurement processes.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a data‑driven procurement or supply chain role; maritime, logistics or heavy industry experience is a plus.
• Membership or progression in CIPS or CISCM is an advantage.
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to multitask and a high level of integrity.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SuccessFactors and Microsoft Dynamics.
