About the role

We are seeking a qualified and detail‑oriented legal professional to support our business operations by providing legal guidance, managing contractual matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on business operations, commercial transactions, and strategic decisions.
• Draft, review, and advise on contracts, partnership agreements, service agreements, and other legal documents.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and relevant industry requirements.
• Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Advise on corporate governance, internal policies, and business documentation.
• Support the negotiation and structuring of business partnerships and commercial relationships.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property, data protection, and other relevant legal matters.

Required profile

• A law degree and qualification to practise law in Nigeria.
• Demonstrable knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Good judgement and the ability to provide clear, practical legal advice.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks independently.
• An understanding of the legal considerations affecting startups and growing businesses is an advantage.
