About the role
Milsat Technologies is seeking a Compliance Manager to develop and implement its compliance and regulatory framework, ensuring alignment with laws such as NDPA/NDPR and GDPR.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance and regulatory frameworks, including data privacy initiatives like DPIAs and privacy‑by‑design reviews.
- Manage KYB, enhanced due diligence, UBO verification, vendor assessments, and third‑party compliance.
- Oversee regulatory engagements, operational licences, permits, and public‑sector compliance requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as MSAs, SLAs, Data Transfer Agreements, and API licensing agreements.
- Maintain the corporate risk register and conduct compliance audits, reporting to executive management and the board.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in legal operations, regulatory compliance, data governance, or corporate law.
- LL.B/BL or a relevant advanced qualification in law, governance, or risk management preferred.
