Lawyer / Legal Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, detail‑driven lawyer to join our team and provide high‑quality legal advisory, litigation, and drafting support to corporate, institutional, and individual clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sound legal advice and opinions to clients across a range of matters.
• Handle litigation, including court appearances, pleadings and case management.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well‑reasoned legal opinions.
• Support corporate and transactional matters, including compliance and regulatory work.
• Maintain open communication with clients and keep them informed of progress.
• Work closely with the Principal Partner and team to deliver excellent results.

Required profile

• Called to the Nigerian Bar with a minimum of five years' post‑call experience.
• Strong litigation, drafting and legal research skills.
• Strong opinion writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Diligent, hardworking and committed to excellence.
• The highest standard of integrity and professionalism.
