About the role
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Steward to join our kitchen team in Lekki, Lagos. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation throughout the kitchen and washing areas.
Key responsibilities
- Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and washing areas.
- Keep kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas clean and organised.
- Assist with proper storage and arrangement of kitchen supplies.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
- Support the kitchen team with basic tasks when required.
- Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are available and properly stored.
- Follow all kitchen hygiene and safety procedures.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, Kitchen Assistant, Cleaner, or similar role is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- Good hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Hardworking, reliable, and physically fit.
- Team‑player who is punctual, responsible, and willing to learn.
