About the role
Join Partech Africa’s investment team for a January 2027 internship based in Nairobi or Lagos. The role involves sourcing, investment analysis and researching African technology markets. You will collaborate with senior investment professionals, contribute to deal pipelines, and gain exposure to the venture capital ecosystem across Africa. The internship provides a hands‑on experience in evaluating high‑growth technology startups.
Key responsibilities
- Screen potential investments and present companies to the team.
- Review pitches, meet entrepreneurs and support due diligence and investment memoranda.
- Research target sectors and contribute to the Partech Africa report.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a Master’s programme in business, engineering or equivalent, with initial VC, PE, M&A or consulting experience.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, fluency in English and interest in African technology businesses.
- Ability to work on‑site in Nairobi or Lagos.
