About the role
The ICT Assistant provides essential technical support to staff within the organization, helping resolve basic IT problems such as hardware, peripherals, communication tools, network access and application issues. More complex technical matters are escalated to management for further resolution. The position is full time.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct assistance to personnel in troubleshooting and resolving standard computer, printer, email, internet connectivity and software-related queries.
- Facilitate the installation and maintenance of software applications and antivirus programs, and the initial configuration of hardware equipment.
- Manage a streamlined inventory system for ICT assets, keeping accurate records of equipment distribution and retrieval.
- Support routine data backup procedures and follow established ICT security protocols and password management policies.
