HR Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, organised and detail‑oriented HR Officer to support the effective management of human resources within a specialist healthcare and oncology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition for clinical and non‑clinical positions.
• Maintain accurate employee records, manage leave, attendance, promotions and exit documentation.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations, grievance handling and engagement initiatives.
• Support performance appraisal processes, training coordination and mandatory compliance training.
• Collate payroll inputs, liaise with Finance and administer benefits and statutory contributions.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, healthcare workforce regulations and internal HR policies.
• Prepare HR reports, maintain workforce data and assist in manpower planning.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Human Resource Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a hospital, oncology centre or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical abilities.
• High integrity, discretion and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Experience with HRIS or payroll software (advantageous)
