Housekeeping Officer (Office & Shortlet Cleaning)

About the role

Resoc Properties is looking for a diligent Housekeeping Officer to maintain cleanliness across its office spaces and short‑let apartments in Lagos. You will ensure that both work environments and guest accommodations are consistently presentable, hygienic, and ready for daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily office cleaning: sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, sanitize workspaces, restrooms, windows and common areas.
• Empty waste bins and manage proper disposal of waste.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and ensure they are stored correctly.
• Prepare short‑let apartments for guest check‑in and after check‑out, including thorough cleaning of bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and balconies.
• Change and launder bed linens, towels and other fabrics as required.
• Inspect apartments for damages, stains, smoke residue or missing items and report findings to the supervisor.
• Follow the company’s cleaning checklist and standards for every location.

Required profile

• Hardworking, trustworthy, punctual and responsible.
• Strong attention to detail and a high sense of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel to different short‑let locations within Lagos.
• Physically fit to perform extended cleaning duties.
• Professional respect for guests’ privacy and company property.
