Head of Marketing and Business Development

About the role

Zobis Cable Nigeria Limited is looking for a senior leader to shape and execute its marketing and business development strategy across Nigeria. The role will drive market expansion, oversee regional sales performance and strengthen the company’s brand and digital presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the overall marketing and business development strategy aligned with corporate revenue targets.
• Identify new markets, customer segments, distribution channels and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct regular market, competitor and industry analysis to inform growth initiatives.
• Maintain a strategic pipeline of high‑value opportunities and ensure conversion.
• Provide strategic direction and oversight to Regional Sales Managers, set targets and monitor performance.
• Coach and mentor regional sales teams to improve commercial leadership and accountability.
• Ensure consistent pricing, product positioning and sales practices across all regions.
• Oversee brand positioning, marketing communications and digital campaigns to boost brand awareness.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 9 years of experience in marketing, business development or commercial leadership.
• Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies in a manufacturing or related industry.
• Strong analytical ability to translate market intelligence into actionable plans.
• Experience leading regional sales teams and managing cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise senior management on commercial opportunities.
