About the role
The Financial Analyst will join Heirs Insurance Group in Lagos, working in a hybrid setting that blends office collaboration with remote flexibility. You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to drive strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse financial performance, interpret statements and provide insights for operational and strategic decision‑making.
- Prepare and review management reports, dashboards and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to evaluate business initiatives and monitor key financial metrics.
- Support continuous improvement of financial planning processes and tools.
Required profile
- Strong foundation in finance, preferably with exposure to insurance or financial services.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial strategy.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certifications (CFA, ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency and financial modelling.
- Familiarity with ERP or financial systems.
- Ability to analyse balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
