Finance and Administration Executive

About the role

An agribusiness company based in Osun State, Nigeria, which produces innovative foods and total healthy living products, is seeking a Finance and Administration Executive. The role covers the full range of financial management and bookkeeping needed to run the business.

Key responsibilities

• Financial planning and budgeting: set financial goals, create spending plans and project future costs in line with business objectives.
• Accounting and bookkeeping: record daily transactions, maintain the general ledger and manage day-to-day records.
• Accounts payable and receivable: pay suppliers and vendors while tracking and collecting money owed by customers.
• Financial reporting and analysis: prepare balance sheets, income statements and performance reports.
• Treasury and cash flow management: oversee daily cash needs, manage bank relationships and ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Tax planning and compliance: file tax returns, minimize tax liabilities and follow local and federal financial regulations.
• Risk management and internal audit: identify financial threats, prevent fraud and review internal controls.
