Field Marketing Representative

About the role

A remote, full-time Field Marketing Representative is sought to join a growing team. The role works closely with marketing managers and the sales team to promote lead generation and create upsell opportunities. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and complete field marketing campaigns after preliminary research.
• Build strong knowledge of all product lines and services.
• Produce literature, signage, merchandise and other materials for field marketing events.
• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and venues.
• Negotiate with retailers and partners on promotional display and merchandise placement.
• Promote business expansion opportunities to retailers and merchants through field marketing programs.
• Attend trade shows and events, and monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
• Manage social media activity around field marketing campaigns and track expenses.
• Report weekly or monthly on campaign status and share lead and customer intelligence with the sales team.

Required profile

• Superb written and oral communication skills, with aptitude for relationship building and negotiation.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities; self-motivated and flexible.
• Prior marketing experience is ideal; a relevant internship is preferred.
