Social Media Manager

About the role

FMR Agency is hiring a full-time Social Media Manager based in Lagos, Marina. The role covers strategy, content creation and production, platform management and performance tracking, with a focus on turning social interest into bookings, leads and paying customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies that increase brand awareness, audience engagement and customer acquisition.
• Create and produce high-quality content such as Reels, TikTok videos, promotional videos, graphics, stories and carousel posts, aligned with the company's brand identity.
• Manage social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, and maintain a content calendar for consistent posting.
• Monitor comments, direct messages and enquiries, responding promptly and professionally, including on weekends, and follow up to turn prospects into bookings, leads and paying customers.
• Research competitors and audience behaviour, and identify trending topics, sounds and content formats to improve reach.
• Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, enquiries and conversions, prepare regular reports and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with the team to promote services, campaigns and special offers.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, creative strategy or media planning.
• Previous experience in an agency; a portfolio of past campaigns is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, Digital Media or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
