Remote Marketer (4-Month Contract)

About the role

A growing company is looking for a talented and passionate Marketer to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that achieve its business objectives. The position is remote, based in Lagos, Nigeria, and is a 4-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
• Manage and optimise social media channels, email marketing and other digital marketing initiatives.
• Create engaging written, visual and video content that resonates with the target audience.
• Analyse marketing data and generate reports that inform future strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
• Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and technologies.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of proven experience in a fast-paced marketing environment.
• Expertise in social media marketing, email marketing and content creation.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus points: experience in field and digital marketing, proficiency in Google Ads and Meta, bilingualism, a track record with existing clients (good manufacturing companies preferred), and marketing-related certification.
