External Security Relations Support – Government Security Liaison

About the role

Micronet International Limited seeks an External Security Relations Support professional to act as the primary interface with Government Security Agencies (GSA). The role ensures security delivery across operations while maintaining compliance with HSSE, VPSHR and Use of Force standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support deployment of GSA units to company operations, ensuring appropriate numbers and capabilities.
• Assist GSA in managing conflicts between community stakeholders and the company.
• Coordinate VPSHR briefings, investigations, security data management and OPDS reporting for GSA.
• Establish and maintain liaison with key external security stakeholders.
• Organise and update VPSHR compliance documentation and databases.
• Support MFE and asset integrity initiatives at GSA operational sites.
• Facilitate external summons by GSAs and monitor engagements with government security agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Professional security certification from ASIS International or another globally recognised body.
• At least 5 years’ experience in security management within high‑threat environments.
• Expert knowledge of security risk management methods and E&P business operations, especially in the Niger Delta and Gulf of Guinea.
