Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our production and engineering team at our Abuja factory. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability of key machinery, minimise downtime and support continuous production of high‑quality roofing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on mixers, conveyors, crushers, forming, cutting and drying equipment.
• Diagnose faults quickly and implement corrective actions to keep production running.
• Perform electrical maintenance on motors, PLCs and inverters.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report equipment status to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety standards, SOPs and maintenance procedures.
• Contribute to equipment optimisation and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Male, aged 22‑45 years and physically fit.
• Proven experience in mechanical or electrical equipment maintenance, preferably in a building‑materials or manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Comfortable working under pressure and following structured maintenance processes.
• Willingness to work shifts or extended hours as needed.
