About the role
Wasteserve Nigeria Limited is seeking a qualified Process Metallurgist / Chemical Engineer to join its operations in Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing metal recovery and chemical processing activities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and optimise metal recovery and chemical processing operations.
- Analyse process efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Handle chemical formulations, leaching, and recovery procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare operational and technical reports.
Required profile
- Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in hydrometallurgy, mineral processing, recycling or industrial metal refining.
- Familiarity with electrolytic cell operation and chemical leaching agents.
