Entry-Level Field Officer – Gombe State, Nigeria

About the role

New Incentives is seeking motivated entry‑level Field Officers to support its cash‑transfer program that encourages mothers to complete their infants' immunisation schedule in Gombe State, Nigeria. Officers will work directly with public clinics, enrolling beneficiaries and monitoring vaccine delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Enroll eligible mothers and infants at designated public clinics across Gombe State.
• Monitor immunisation services, verify that vaccinations are recorded correctly, and report any stock‑outs or service gaps.
• Conduct rapid assessments and maintain accurate enrollment and cash‑disbursement records.
• Provide health talks to caregivers, explaining vaccination benefits, side‑effects, and next‑visit dates.
• Prevent fraud by verifying beneficiary eligibility and ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist with outreach activities, campaigns, and other program‑related duties as needed.

Required profile

• Residency in one of the listed towns within Gombe State (e.g., Gombe, Akko, Balanga, etc.).
• Strong commitment to improving child health and willingness to work in remote clinic settings.
• Ability to follow strict eligibility criteria and maintain diligent cash‑management standards.
