Creche Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Creche Attendant to provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers in our school’s creche area. The role involves supervising children, facilitating age‑appropriate activities, and maintaining a clean environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise infants and toddlers, ensuring safety and well‑being at all times.
• Engage children in play, storytime, music and other age‑appropriate activities.
• Prepare and serve snacks and meals, adhering to dietary guidelines.
• Keep the creche area clean, disinfect toys and equipment regularly.
• Monitor developmental progress and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with fellow staff and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education certification is a plus.
• Previous experience caring for infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents and colleagues.
• Understanding of child development and best practices for infant/toddler care.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
