About the role
The Commercial Lead will design and drive the national sales and distribution strategy for a fast‑moving consumer goods portfolio. You will build and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers and institutional customers across Lagos and beyond.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a national sales and distribution plan, including pricing, channel strategy and territory mapping.
- Recruit, lead and hold accountable a sales/distribution team to meet targets.
- Track sales performance, market penetration, re‑orders and channel health.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations and Business Development to align initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum HND in a related field.
- At least 3 years of FMCG sales/commercial experience, preferably in household products.
- Proven track record of building or expanding distribution networks.
- Strong knowledge of Lagos open‑market and traditional trade channels.
- Leadership, negotiation and commercial acumen.
- Comfortable establishing structures from an early stage.
