Cloud Infrastructure Integration Engineer Graduate Internship

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Integration Engineer Graduate to join its cloud engineering and delivery team for a 12‑month graduate internship. You will gain hands‑on experience with Ericsson’s cloud platforms that support network solutions for communication service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Support preparation and validation of cloud configurations and scripts, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
• Deploy cloud solutions, install and configure software components.
• Assist in troubleshooting, identify issues and implement corrections under senior engineer guidance.
• Participate in integration and migration tasks on Ericsson cloud environments following established processes.
• Verify that virtual infrastructure, operating systems, software components, licenses and configuration data are correctly versioned.
• Execute test cases to validate configuration and integration of cloud components and network functions.
• Document configurations, procedures and lessons learned to improve quality and reuse.
• Identify and propose automation opportunities to streamline cloud delivery activities.
• Support post‑project activities and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Ongoing or recently completed (0‑3 years) Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud and virtualization concepts such as Linux, containers, virtual machines and networking fundamentals.
• Interest in automation and scripting with willingness to learn modern automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and curiosity about complex systems.
• Ability to follow structured processes and documentation with attention to detail.
