Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth across the oil and gas value chain by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and managing tender processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments.
• Maintain strong relationships with operators, service companies, EPC contractors, and procurement teams.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
• Track and manage tender opportunities, RFQs, RFPs, and contract bids.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of proposals, quotations, and pre‑qualification documents.
• Develop business plans, sales strategies, and client acquisition initiatives.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support contract reviews with relevant teams.
• Represent the company at industry meetings, conferences, and networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of business development experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Proven experience in tendering, proposal preparation, and client acquisition.
• Knowledge of oil and gas procurement processes and commercial contracting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
