Barman (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barman to join our team at Jades of Green Consulting in Lagos. The role involves preparing a variety of drinks, maintaining bar standards and delivering excellent service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the bar, prepare garnishes and ensure beverage and glassware availability.
• Prepare cocktails, mocktails and other drinks following approved recipes and measured portions.
• Enter and verify orders through the POS system, serving drinks accurately and promptly.
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, safe storage, and conduct daily equipment checks.
• Record receipts, requisitions, breakages and wastage, and participate in regular stock counts.
• Ensure safe storage of alcoholic beverages and monitor inventory levels.
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile bar sales at the end of each shift.
• Assist in training new bar staff as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of SSCE.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar bar role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
