About the role
The Associate, Advisory will support the Corporate & Investment Banking team in Lagos, assisting with transaction origination, structuring and execution while ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and document risk and regulatory components of transactions, supporting due‑diligence and feasibility assessments.
- Build, review and analyse financial models to perform valuations and support corporate finance decisions.
- Prepare client documentation such as offering memorandums, term sheets, engagement letters and legal agreements.
- Attend client engagements, contribute to pitch presentations and maintain regular contact with a small client portfolio.
- Manage multiple workstreams, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality deliverables.
Required profile
- 5‑8 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking or related advisory roles.
- Proficient understanding of financial statements, ratio analysis and valuation techniques.
- Experience drafting client‑facing documentation and familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations.
