Accountant – Full‑time (Marina, Lagos)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to maintain accurate accounting records, prepare financial statements, and support audit and tax engagements. The role will involve working closely with clients, auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting records and process invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Prepare partnership accounts, periodic financial statements, management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank, cash, receivables, payables and other account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances.
• Support audit, tax and other financial reporting engagements by providing accurate documentation.
• Use QuickBooks and Tally to process transactions and generate reports.
• Assist with budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring and financial analysis as required.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including partnership accounts.
• Professional membership of ICAN, ACCA or similar is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
