Senior Product Manager – Prediction Market Platform

About the role

Bayse is building Africa’s largest prediction market and derivatives exchange. We are looking for a senior product manager to own a core surface of the platform, from the trading experience to the settlement, liquidity and compliance mechanics underneath.

Key responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for your area of the Bayse product, from problem discovery through launch and iteration.
• Write detailed specs and decision documents for engineering and design.
• Run user discovery, turn insights into a prioritized backlog.
• Ship with engineering and design, making trade‑off decisions against liquidity, regulatory and technical constraints.
• Define and own metrics such as volume, liquidity depth, retention and conversion, and run experiments.
• Partner with trading/quant, operations and compliance to ensure pricing, settlement, KYC and risk are correct.
• Invent new market types, mechanics and experiences for prediction markets.
• Coordinate go‑to‑market launches with ops, compliance and marketing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience with senior ownership of a complex product area, preferably in fintech, trading, crypto/Web3, marketplace or high‑stakes consumer platforms.
• Strong quantitative instincts and comfort working with data, unit economics and market health.
• Builder’s mindset with ability to dive deep into product mechanics and ship under ambiguity.
• Proven track record of scaling a consumer product toward or beyond a million active users.
• Excellent judgment under pressure, balancing trust, liquidity, compliance and speed.
• Clear written and verbal communication across engineering, design, trading, ops and leadership.

Required skills

• Understanding of order books, spreads, liquidity and settlement (or ability to learn quickly).
• Experience with prediction markets, derivatives, exchanges or betting/gaming products (strong plus).
