Risk Management & Internal Control Manager

About the role

Alpha Mead Group is seeking a seasoned Risk Management & Internal Control Manager to lead the development and implementation of risk strategies and internal control frameworks across its real‑estate and facility‑management operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and internal control frameworks.
• Conduct enterprise‑wide risk assessments covering operational, financial, compliance, and strategic risks.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, recommending improvements as needed.
• Carry out periodic internal control reviews and compliance audits across departments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and company policies.
• Investigate control breaches, operational lapses, and compliance issues, proposing corrective actions.
• Prepare risk management and internal control reports for senior management and executive leadership.
• Collaborate with business units to strengthen risk awareness and promote a strong control culture.
• Support external auditors and regulatory inspections.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, control matrices, and monitoring dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management, internal control, internal audit, compliance, or related functions.
• ACA certification highly desired.
• Experience in real estate, facility management, construction, or related sectors is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management principles, internal control systems, and corporate governance practices.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
