Director of Finance – Part‑time (Potential Full‑time)

About the role

Ziti Group, an impact‑driven technology and AI training company, is looking for a strategic Director of Finance. The position starts on a part‑time basis with the possibility of becoming full‑time, supporting the organization’s growth across the UK and Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations for UK and Nigeria entities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, and cash‑flow optimization.
• Provide strategic financial leadership to the CEO and senior team, delivering insights for business planning, investment decisions, and expansion initiatives.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models, scenario analyses, and forecasts to guide resource allocation and growth planning.
• Manage cash‑flow, liquidity, and financial sustainability while proactively mitigating financial risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, regulators, donors, and investors.
• Ensure compliance and financial viability for strategic partnerships, grants, donor‑funded programs, and cross‑border transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership role with responsibility for strategy, planning, reporting, and compliance.
• Experience managing financial operations across multiple jurisdictions, preferably the UK and Nigeria.
• Proven ability to advise executive leadership on strategic financial matters and support organizational growth.
• Background in startups, social enterprises, educational or technology organisations is an advantage.
