Retail Manager – Luxury Lifestyle Store

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Manager to lead daily store operations in Lagos, ensuring that sales targets are achieved while delivering a unique luxury retail experience that aligns with brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Create a distinctive retail experience following brand standards.
• Design and implement creative merchandising layouts.
• Collaborate with senior management to set annual budgets and sales targets.
• Manage budgets, profit and loss statements, and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and oversee inventory systems.
• Analyse sales data, interpret trends, and forecast future volumes.
• Identify new income‑generation opportunities and support business development initiatives.
• Work with the sales team on limited‑edition commissions and artist collaborations.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, health and safety regulations through regular audits.
• Recruit, train and evaluate retail staff, and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
• Plan and execute in‑store promotional events and visual displays.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Retail Manager.
• Experience in the luxury lifestyle or fashion retail sector is an advantage.
• Professional certifications in retail or management are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of sales software, business policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to create spreadsheets, charts and presentations.
• Experience with sales and inventory management software.
• Strong data‑entry and reporting capabilities.
