Technical Sales Representative – Wireline Products (SSA)

About the role

Weatherford is looking for a motivated Technical Sales Representative to lead the promotion of its Wireline Products across Sub‑Saharan Africa. Based in Lagos, you will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and expanding the customer base throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sales strategies to market Wireline and Slickline technologies across Sub‑Saharan Africa.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
• Provide accurate revenue and margin forecasts and address any gaps to meet targets.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and detailed proposals using Xait‑Porter.
• Manage tender development, response processes, and ensure high‑quality submissions.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, marketing, and commercial teams to create customized solutions.
• Gather and share market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and represent Weatherford at industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales within the oil‑field services sector.
• Strong understanding of Wireline and Slickline product lines and their applications.
• Ability to develop and present technical and commercial proposals to senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
