Phone Servicing Technician – Mobile Repair

About the role

M-KOPA is seeking a Phone Servicing Technician to join its retail team in Nigeria. Working from the company warehouse, you will ensure that smartphones and other devices are repaired to full functionality, supporting the company’s mission of digital and financial inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software faults using specialist tools.
• Perform repairs, conduct thorough post‑repair testing, and certify device functionality.
• Maintain accurate records for every device, ensuring traceability and timely turnaround.
• Communicate technical issues and repair outcomes clearly to customers.
• Collaborate with team members and management to resolve complex cases.
• Meet productivity and quality targets without compromise.

Required profile

• Secondary school certificate plus a relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years hands‑on mobile phone repair and servicing experience.
• Proven proficiency with phone repair tools, diagnostic equipment, and service software.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable work habits and professional customer interaction.
• Comfort with asset management systems and service ticketing tools.
