Maker – Transaction Processing Specialist

About the role

Catilas Resources Limited is recruiting a Maker on behalf of a leading commercial bank. The role involves initiating, processing, and preparing customer and operational transactions in line with the bank's policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and process financial and non‑financial transactions accurately and within approved timelines.
• Handle account maintenance requests, fund transfers, and other operational transactions, preparing them for Maker‑Checker review.
• Verify transaction details and supporting documents for accuracy, compliance with KYC, AML, and internal controls.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Support periodic reconciliations and resolve operational issues, liaising with stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and identify process efficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum HND/Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Previous banking operations experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and customer‑focused mindset.
• Good knowledge of banking operations and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
