General Manager – E-commerce

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing e‑commerce company, is looking for a strategic and execution‑focused General Manager to act as the CEO’s right hand. You will lead the entire online business, driving revenue, operational excellence and team performance across all functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in marketing, fulfilment, customer service and product development.
• Develop and execute growth strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Manage budgets, analyse financial reports and ensure profitability.
• Build and maintain SOPs, performance dashboards and reporting systems.
• Align marketing campaigns with revenue targets and monitor key performance indicators.
• Supervise inventory planning, supply‑chain logistics and order‑fulfilment speed.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management and team accountability.
• Ensure high‑quality customer experience and retention.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in operations, business management or e‑commerce leadership.
• Proven track record of scaling businesses and delivering revenue growth.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and cross‑functional coordination skills.
• Solid financial acumen (P&L, margins, forecasting).
• Highly organized, results‑driven and execution‑focused.
