End User Device & IT Asset Management Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive End User Device & IT Asset Management Engineer to join our IT team in Lagos. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining hardware, software and configuration standards for end‑user devices across Windows and macOS environments, ensuring security, compliance and a seamless user experience in a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full device lifecycle – provisioning, configuration, deployment and de‑commissioning of laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Develop and maintain standardized images and deployment workflows for Windows and macOS systems.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and inventory tracking using Microsoft Excel and dedicated tools.
• Administer endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and SCCM, automating enrolment, software deployment, patching and compliance policies.
• Enforce endpoint security baselines including BitLocker, FileVault, antivirus, EDR and MFA, and support ISO 27001, SOC 2 and GDPR compliance initiatives.
• Serve as escalation point for complex device‑related incidents, proactively monitor performance and ensure optimal user experience.
• Manage licenses for core productivity tools, notably Microsoft 365, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
• Lead or contribute to projects such as device refresh, onboarding automation and remote‑work enablement, recommending tools to improve productivity and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in end‑user device engineering, endpoint management or a related IT role.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation abilities.
