Cybersecurity Project Manager – Lead Secure Projects

About the role

The Cybersecurity Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of security-focused projects for multiple clients. Acting as the bridge between technical teams and customers, you will ensure projects meet timelines, scope, and quality standards while adhering to industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end cybersecurity projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and delivery.
• Coordinate with internal security teams (SOC, threat intelligence, incident response, engineering) to ensure seamless execution.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, providing regular status updates, risk reports, and milestone tracking.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, especially those related to security threats and compliance.
• Ensure projects comply with industry frameworks and client‑specific security policies.
• Track performance using appropriate tools, report progress to senior management, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements.
• Assist in resource planning, workload balancing, and escalation management across multiple projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project‑management experience, preferably in cybersecurity or IT services.
• Basic understanding of threat management, vulnerability assessments, SIEM, and incident response.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced MSSP environment managing multiple clients.
• Experience with project‑management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Security+) are a plus.
