Chief Security Officer (CSO) – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead all security functions within our FMCG manufacturing plant in Ikeja, Lagos. The CSO will protect company assets, personnel, visitors and ensure that security policies are fully implemented and adhered to.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive security strategies for the facility.
• Oversee day‑to‑day security operations, including access control, surveillance and patrols.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation plans.
• Lead investigations of security incidents and coordinate response actions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal security standards.
• Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or B.Sc. in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience as a Chief Security Officer, Security Manager or equivalent in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management and incident investigation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Disciplined, proactive and capable of handling emergency situations.
