About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to lead merchant acquisition and drive sales growth across Nigeria. This remote, full‑time position focuses on expanding the bank’s product portfolio through new business development and strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new merchants through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct daily sales team meetings, review performance and plan weekly activities.
  • Maintain and grow existing business relationships.
  • Perform market research to uncover selling opportunities and assess customer needs.
  • Participate in trade fairs, community events and cluster marketing activities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on Monipoint’s products and services.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay insights to internal teams.

Required profile

  • 4‑5 years of sales experience, preferably in banking, fintech or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the local financial services industry.
  • Proven track record in merchant onboarding and managing corporate accounts.
  • Tertiary education from a recognised institution.
