Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing quality food and non‑food items for Chef Eros & Co’s restaurant and bakery operations. You will work closely with the store and inventory teams to ensure timely replenishment while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source reliable suppliers for food and non‑food products.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate favourable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with the Store/Inventory team to track stock levels and trigger replenishment.
• Maintain accurate procurement, supplier and inventory records.
• Conduct market surveys to uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company procurement procedures and approval processes.
• Verify quantities and quality of received items.
• Prepare regular procurement reports for management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 2 years of procurement experience, with proven inventory/stock management.
• Experience in hospitality, restaurant, bakery, food production or FMCG is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and vendor management abilities.
• High attention to detail, integrity and strong organisational skills.
