Business Development Executive

About the role

Ednaevans & Co Ltd is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to expand its client base across oil & gas, energy, manufacturing and construction sectors. You will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing prospects and supporting the sales cycle from initial contact to proposal submission.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective clients in target industries.
• Conduct cold calls, email outreach and other lead‑generation activities.
• Build and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Schedule discovery meetings and deliver product/service presentations.
• Follow up consistently on leads, client meetings and open opportunities.
• Support relationships with procurement and HSE departments.
• Assist with RFQs, tenders, quotations and proposal documentation.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to obtain specifications and certifications.
• Maintain accurate client and sales information in Zoho CRM.
• Record daily outreach, lead activity and deal progression.
• Prepare weekly sales activity reports and represent the company at industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of business development experience in oil & gas, industrial safety or technical services.
• Proven track record in lead generation, prospecting and client outreach.
• Understanding of HSE compliance and industrial safety services.
• Experience supporting RFQs, tenders and proposal preparation.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers, pricing, margins and basic financial calculations.

Required skills

• Zoho CRM (or comparable CRM platform)
