About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor will lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while meeting shipping deadlines. This role involves managing a team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate order processing and timely shipments.
- Supervise, schedule, and delegate tasks to warehouse staff; provide training on equipment operation, packing standards, and picking accuracy.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to reconcile stock with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Enforce safety guidelines, maintain equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and lead safety briefings.
- Plan warehouse layout and optimize space to maximize storage capacity and improve picking routes.
Required profile
- Minimum of an OND qualification.
- At least 12 months of experience in a similar warehouse supervisory role.
Required skills
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage.
- Forklift operation.
- Pallet jack operation.
