KYC Officer

About the role

The KYC Officer will support the Office team in conducting thorough Know‑Your‑Customer assessments for drivers and guarantors within our transport operations. This full‑time position is based in Lagos (Marina) and involves regular interaction with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly KYC assessments to determine the appropriate level of inspection (New KYC, Extensive KYC, Enhanced Monthly Inspection, Monthly Inspection, or No Inspection).
• Execute New KYC and Extensive KYC processes, verifying identities, validating documentation, and evaluating risk profiles.
• Prepare and complete Enhanced Monthly Inspection and Monthly Inspection forms for all team members on a monthly basis.
• Identify potential drivers, maintain physical and digital driver lists, and coordinate the initiation of KYC procedures after deposit payment.
• Collaborate with the Office team on driver off‑boarding, finalising risk assessments based on KYC data.
• Ensure all KYC files are accurately documented, scanned, stored, and regularly updated in the relevant systems.
• Generate reports and maintain databases to support compliance monitoring.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with at least 36 months of experience in KYC, compliance or related documentation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify identity documents and evidence.
• Effective collaboration skills to work with the Office team and external partners.
